Breast Cancer Awareness Project, BCAP was initiated in 2004, with the classic pilot stage to evolve to its full blown picture to assess the awareness of 3000 medical students and 1000 public specimens, females above the age of 20. BCAP met one of its stages of success through the first edition of The SSS Medical journal, which displayed some of the stats reached from the assessment stage as well as several articles tackling breast cancer from several aspects.

The SSS medical 2 published spring 2006, part of our awareness against Diabetes Mellitus and its complications. This topic was chosen as it tackles practically the most wide spread condition in the world and especially in Egypt. Hence, it is probably the most common condition medical students will face during their study and practice years.
The magazine was sponsored by Abbott Diabetes Care and Vacsera and distributed in the Pan Arab Congress on Diabetes.

The SSS medical 2-second edition published spring 2007, supporting the awareness of Diabetes Mellitus complications.
The magazine was sponsored by Alfa Scan and Abbott Diabetes Care and distributed in the DMC.

The first published SSS social magazine. Impulse relied greatly on material supplied by the students themselves; including personal views, debates, surveys, interviews with public figures in addition to updates on the latest events taking place in the faculty of medicine, Cairo University. With 5 issues published , Impulse was continuously improving to become a more inclusive as well as amusing students’ magazine.

This is the SSS's pet project, a social magazine with contributions from most SSSians. It covers almost every single genre from poetry to short stories, from book and movie reviews to medical breakthroughs. We believe every medical student has a creative side, and this is where it all shines through.

The 1st SSS wall magazine prepared under the head of Hana Galal Editor '07-'08 .It contains a variety of articles talking about medical students' day-to-day experiences in college & their concerns about the future, some self-help articles, interviews with some of the most notable professors & all presented in extremely artistic designs.
